Guilty plea from Padd Farm owner Danny Beach

Danny Beach, the owner of Padd Farm, Hurst Lane, Egham, pleaded guilty on Wednesday 30 November at Guildford Crown Court, to 13 counts of failing to comply with two planning enforcement notices.

Sentencing was adjourned until 19 January 2012.  As a condition of his bail the court ordered Mr Beach to provide access to Council officers to allow them see what is happening on the land at the present time and to report back to the court before the judge passes sentence.

The co-owner of the site, Mrs Linda Beach was unable to attend court due to illness.  Her case has been adjourned until 11 January 2012.

Chairman of Planning Committee, Cllr Geoffrey Woodger said: “This is another step forward on this case and sends a strong message to others that Runnymede Borough Council will take action against those who flout planning law.”
