Woman’s Own opportunity: deadline tomorrow (1 July) 30/06/2011

Catherine Dunn (NHWN, Administrator, England & Wales)

Dear members & supporters,

I have been approached by freelance journalist Katie Burnetts who is writing an article for Woman’s Own. She is looking for case studies of women over the age of 30 who have found that Twitter has helped them in a community sense – for example where someone has successfully responded to an appeal on Twitter, or used it to help a neighbour. The focus of the article will be on crime, community spirit and helping each other out.

If you think you can help, please contact Katie on ktburnetts@gmail.com or 020 3148 6558. Her deadline is Friday 1 July so the sooner you can get in touch with her the better. (Please contact Katie directly; if you reply to this message I will not pass your details on to her without getting your permission first.)

Thank you in advance to any community-spirited, Twitter-using ladies who can help!

Best wishes,

Catherine Dunn
