Surrey County CouncilHundreds of young people are expected to attend a jobs fair organised by Surrey County Council.

The Surrey Opportunities Fair is aimed at school-leavers, unemployed young people and those seeking new opportunities as part of the authority’s drive to combat the number of young people not in education, employment or training.

It will give them the opportunity to find out more about apprenticeships, further education and training as well as the chance to speak to careers advisers.

Among those expected to attend the event at Epsom Raceourse on Tuesday 9 October (3.30-7pm) are U-Explore, an online platform providing independent education, training and careers advice, all Surrey’s colleges, a host of training firms and the National Apprenticeship Service.
