Successful micro chipping dog event in Egham Hythe

From the RBC newsletter:

Runnymede Borough Council had a great turn out for their micro chipping event on Saturday 15 September at Pooley Green Recreation Ground, Egham Hythe.

The event was a great success with 53 dogs being micro chipped with the free micro chips generously donated by the Dog’s Trust.

Battersea Cats & Dogs Home provided identity tags and there were local veterinarians from Runnymede Hill Veterinary Hospital on hand to give advice on dog care and were giving out discount vouchers for neutering and free goodie bags for the dogs. Goodie bags and discounted neutering vouchers were also provided by Donald Kingsnorth and Associates, Chertsey.

Licensing and Environmental Health Manager, Peter Burke, said: “The event was well received and we will be looking to do more of these events around the borough.  If you were unable to attend the event and you would like your dog micro chipped, you can contact the Dog Warden on 01932 425718 or the Environmental Protection team on 01932 425131.”
