A CAR crashed into the side of Addlestone Community Centre on Friday, shocking people inside the venue who were setting up for a 50th birthday party. The three people in the vehicle, an elderly male driver, his grandson and grandson’s daughter, were all uninjured in the incident, which happened in Garfield Road at around 1.45pm.

Engineers were called out to ensure the building was structurally safe before the car was removed later in the evening.
