Bookings now being taken for the P&G Surrey Youth Games 2013

If you are aged 7 to 16 years and live or attend a school in Runnymede you could join Team Runnymede in the P&G Surrey Youth Games 2013. Details for the coaching session times and venues have now been confirmed.

Youth Games ImageThere are 15 sports to choose from, including badminton, boxing, hockey, judo, swimming, tennis and new sports for this year, lacrosse and table tennis.

The Sport and Health Development Officer Emma Parnell said: “Every young person who takes part will receive eight weeks of free sports coaching in their chosen sport/s and the chance to represent Runnymede at the P&G Surrey Youth Games 2013. The training sessions start week commencing 15 April and take place at sports clubs, leisure centres and schools across the borough. The competition will be held at Surrey Sports Park in Guildford on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2013.”
