Update following suspicious incident in Knaphill

Police Vest 2A man has been arrested in connection with the suspicious incident in Inkerman Road, Knaphill, yesterday (13 May).

The 27-year-old man, who is from the Woking area, is currently in custody. Enquiries are at an early stage.

West Surrey Detective Chief Inspector Karen Mizzi said: “Although we have made an arrest, our enquiries are still at an early stage and I would continue to urge anyone with any information to come forward.”

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward as a matter of urgency. If you have any information, please contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting incident reference P13138917 or, if you prefer not to leave your name, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
