FERRARI Formula 1 star Felipe Massa officially reopened the Maranello showroom in Egham on Thursday (June 26).
The Art Deco showroom has recently undergone refurbishment with a clock restored to the tower.
Massa said: “Ferrari has got two fantastic Maranellos. I’m really happy to be here.”
The event was described as a celebration of the reopening of the showroom following its refurbishment.
Managing director Howard Rose said: “This place was opened and started by Colonel Ronnie Hoare. If he was here today he would be delighted with what has been done here. This is one of the most iconic buildings Ferrari has.”
He also paid tribute to Sytner group for the work done to the showroom, saying it had done “a fantastic job”.
Evans and Massa then sat down and discussed the F1 driver’s career from his first days in karting up to the current season.
“I never believed when I was a kid I would be a Ferrari driver,” he added. “It’s like a dream.”
