Appeal for witnesses after cyclist suffers serious injuries in Englefield Green

templateheaderimage11072012134248Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses after a cyclist suffered serious injuries in an incident in Englefield Green yesterday (Tuesday, 30 July).

Police were called shortly after 8.30am to a report of a collision involving a cyclist and a white ford transit van.

The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was taken to St Peter’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was temporarily closed at around 9am and reopened just before 11am.

Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference P13230103.
