Runnymede Council is looking for volunteer walk leaders

walkleaders2Runnymede Council is looking for volunteers to lead walks in Runnymede for the over 55s.

The walks will start and finish at the three Runnymede Council run social centres for the over 55s in New Haw, Addlestone and Egham and other locations in Runnymede.

Sport and Health Development Officer, Emma Parnell said: “If you like to walk and enjoy the company of others this is a great opportunity for you to lead walks in the local area to encourage and keep those over 55 active.”

No previous experience or qualifications are required as a one day walk leader training course will be provided, but a DBS check will be required.
