Have your say – Consultation on Parliamentary Polling Districts and Polling Places

RM_Colour_Logo_A5A public consultation on Runnymede Council’s review of the existing polling districts and polling places situated within Runnymede’s area of the Parliamentary Constituency of Runnymede and Weybridge will be carried out from Sunday 1 December 2013 until Friday 24 January 2014.

The Council is looking for feedback on any aspect of polling districts and/or polling places currently used and invites representation and comments from interested persons.

Local political parties and councillors will be consulted and views are invited from electors and local community groups within the Parliamentary Constituency of Runnymede and Weybridge. Views and comments are also sought from those that have a particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for persons who have different forms of disability.

Although the review is of polling districts and polling places it is accepted that polling stations are inexorably linked to the review and comments are invited regarding those stations currently used and/or any suggested alternatives.

Information regarding the current polling districts and places can be found on the Council’s web site http://www.runnymede.gov.uk/elections or from Electoral Services at the Civic Centre, Station Road, Addlestone, KT15 2AH.
