Man arrested following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Egham

templateheaderimage11072012134248Surrey Police arrested a man following the discovery of a cannabis factory at an address in Egham last week.


Officers attended an address in Devil’s Lane shortly before 5pm on Saturday, 28 December following reports of suspicious activity from members of the public.

Officers arrested a man at the scene and following a thorough search of the property seized a number of items of equipment for further analysis.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or with any information should call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference 45130009568, or call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

  • A 23-year-old man from Egham who was arrested on suspicion of producing class B drugs has since been released on police bail until January 30 2014 while the investigation continues.
