Appeal for witnesses following a serious collision in Egham

Surrey Police was called to a serious two vehicle collision in Egham this evening (Wednesday, 15 January).

The incident occurred just after 6pm when the vehicles, a grey Mazda 6 and a blue Chrysler Grand Voyager, collided at the junction of Thorpe Lea Road and Ten Acre Lane.

A teenage boy who was travelling in the rear of the Mazda suffered serious internal injuries as a result of the collision. The driver and passenger of the Mazda, a man and a woman in their 50s, and the driver and sole occupant of the Chrysler, a woman in her 40s, suffered what are believed to be minor injuries in the incident. They have all been taken to hospital for treatment.

Road closures are currently in place in the immediate area while an initial collision investigation is carried out and recovery for the vehicles is made.
