Information sought following an assault in Addlestone


Detectives in North Surrey are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Addlestone on Wednesday, 29 January.

The incident took place in Papa Johns Pizza Place on Station Parade at approximately 1.15 pm when an altercation broke out and a woman was assaulted.

Investigating Officer, Naomi Ricketts said: “This was a nasty attack on a woman that has left her shaken and shocked by the ordeal.

“We would like to hear from anyone who heard or saw the incident, or has since gained any information relating to the event to contact us as a matter of urgency by calling 101 and quoting P14028032.

“Fortunately, no one involved suffered serious injuries in this instance but Surrey Police will not tolerate anti-social behaviour of this nature and will take robust action against offenders.”

A 30-year-old man from Addlestone has been arrested in connection with the incident and remains on police bail.
