Chertsey Meads borough ward by-election, Thursday 13 March 2014

Polling_StationRunnymede Borough Council’s Returning Officer Paul Turrell has confirmed Thursday 13 March 2014 as polling day for the Chertsey Meads ward by-election.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.
The locations of the polling stations can be found on your polling card that you will have received.  You do not need your polling card to vote.
Polling station locations:

  • St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Free Prae Road, Chertsey
  • Chertsey Hall, Heriot Road, Chertsey
  • Meadowcroft County Infant School, Little Green Lane, Chertsey

Runnymede Council’s Chief Executive and Returning Officer said: “As Returning Officer, once I have a legitimate request to call an election I have to set a date. Unfortunately, I have no powers to delay the election because of the recent floods, so this by-election will go ahead as planned.”
