Chertsey Meads ward by-election results

Mark_NutiThursday 13 March 2014 saw Mark Nuti of the Conservative Party as the newly elected councillor for the Runnymede ward of Chertsey Meads.

Runnymede Council’s Chief Executive and Returning Officer, Paul Turrell said: “We welcome, newly elected councillor Mark Nuti and look forward to him making his mark on council business.”

There were four candidates for the Chertsey Meads ward by-election, with the count held at Chertsey Hall, Heriot Road, Chertsey.

David Bell, Labour Party, 329 votes
Keith Collett (Crazy Crab), The Official Monster Raving Loony Party, 15 votes
Grahame Leon-Smith, UK Independent Party, 327 votes
Mark Nuti, Conservative Party, 489 votes Elected

Percentage turnout was 28.87%
