Surrey Heath Residents Network

A 29-year-old man from Camberley has been arrested after two teenage girls were robbed yesterday afternoon (18 March).

The girls were in an alleyway in Kingston Road, Camberley, around 1-40pm when they were approached by a man who asked them for a cigarette. When they said they did not have one, he asked them for money, pulling out a bladed weapon. He became more aggressive as he continued to ask them for money. He eventually made off in the direction of Kingston Road after taking some tobacco and a mobile phone.

The suspect is described as white, in his early 30s, 5ft 9 to 6ft tall, skinny with an untidy dark brown beard, olive skin, brown eyes and bushy eyebrows. He was wearing a dark grey or blue hooded top with a zip at the front, baggy jeans or tracksuit bottoms and a grey beanie striped or patterned hat.
