Good news for residents:Two men charged with Virginia Water burglaries.

Via Surrey Police with thanks.

Lewis Kelleher, a 26-year-old man from Back Street, Biggleswade, Bedfordshire has been charged with two counts of burglary, taking a motor vehicle without consent and assaulting a police officer.

Khaled Kamhouri, a 20-year-old man from Wandsworth Bridge Road, Fulham, London has been charged with two counts of burglary and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

Both men have been remanded in custody and are due to make their first appearance at Guildford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 18 June.

Might I just add some crime prevention advice: @RunnymedeBeat notes that some 30% of crimes occur where property (houses, garages, offices and cars) are unlocked or unsecured.

Please lock-up and report all suspicious circumstances to your local police.
