The deadline for the Comic Relief Local Communities Programme is coming up very shortly and we are keen to get the word out. We would be really grateful if you can think of an upcoming opportunity to share the below information.  

The Community Foundation for Surrey is now inviting expressions of interest from groups who are interested in applying for funding from the Comic Relief Local Communities programme.

The programme aims to support small, locally based groups or organisations in areas of disadvantage which are fulfilling one or more of the following objectives:

  •          Increasing local services
  •          Building skills of local people
  •          Increasing community cohesion
  •          Responding to local economic needs

The closing date for applications for Comic Relief Local Communities Programme is Friday 11th July.

Even if your project isn’t eligible for the Comic Relief Local Communities Programme you can contact the Community Foundation for Surrey, as your organisation may be eligible for consideration under their growing programme of Donor Funds. Please fill out the brief form at:http://www.cfsurrey.org.uk/expression-interest-form to express an interest in any of the Community Foundation’s funding opportunities
