Domestic Abuse – How should the police manage those victims who want to stay?

Several people responded to Eve on Twitter with plenty of context and suggestions including a ‘building Family Justice Centre in every town’. You may debate what that looks like!)

However what happens when all the people or even only one person in a difficult relationship don’t want to make the matter public or are frightened of the consequences of involving others in their issues?

But first please consider that domestic abuse is not a single event and like ‘anti social behaviour’ it is a huge issue with many facets and layers. Indeed this blog cannot hope to address domestic abuse except in a very minor and insignificant way.
