Appeal for witnesses following serious collision in Chobham

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Chobham.

Officers were called to Bagshot Road near to Gordon Boys School, at 11.10am today (Tuesday 25 November) following the collision between a silver VW Golf and a silver Mercedes.

The man who was driving the Golf, aged in his 50s, was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting by air ambulance with serious injuries.

The driver of the Mercedes, also a man in his 50s, was taken to the same hospital by road ambulance with serious injuries.

The road is currently closed and is expected to be so for several hours while officers carry out their investigation.

Anyone who saw the manner of driving of either vehicle before the incident is asked to contact Surrey Police immediately on 101, quoting the reference number P14338084.
