£200,000 Surrey scam victim appears on BBC programme

A Surrey pensioner conned out of more than £200,000 over 56 years before the county council’s trading standards team convinced her to stop handing over cash to horoscope tricksters and other scammers has appeared on television.

Sylvia Kneller, from Farnham, spoke out on the BBC’s Inside Out South to help others. She talks about her experiences to raise awareness of the problem of scam mail seven minutes and 15 seconds into the programme.
