Witness appeal following M25 road rage incident

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following an alleged altercation* on the M25.

The incident took place on the clockwise carriageway of the M25 going towards junction 10 at around 6.50am on Tuesday, 27 January.

It has been reported that the victim, who was driving a silver Vauxhall Insignia, was threatened by another motorist who had pulled up alongside him whilst travelling along the motorway.

It is believed that the suspect was driving a blue Volkswagen Scirocco which exited the motorway at junction 10 towards the A3.

He has been described as being a well-built white man, between 35-40 years of age and having dark blond hair.

Investigating officer PC Joshua Blackham, said: “This was a busy time of day on the road with motorists driving during the morning commute. I would appeal for anyone who uses that route to think about whether they might have seen this incident, or the manner of driving of either vehicle in the events leading up to it.”

Anyone with information should contact Surrey Police by calling 101 or use the online reporting system http://www.surrey.police.uk quoting the reference number 45150007413.
