Man charged with non-recent sexual offences in Surrey


A 50-year-old man from Swindon appeared in court last week charged with multiple non-recent sexual offences against two boys.

Antony Jones, of Conway Road, was charged with 17 offences, including indecent assaults on a child under 14 and inciting a child under 14 to commit an act of gross indecency.

The alleged offences took place in Staines-upon-Thames, Egham, Chertsey, Hanworth, Feltham and Watford between 1994 and 2001.

Jones initially appeared at North Surrey Magistrates Court (Staines) on Wednesday, 18 March.

He is next due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, 10 April for a plea and case management hearing.
