Police appeal for witnesses following fail to stop collision in Addlestone

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in Addlestone last night (12 April).
The collision, involving a vehicle and cyclist, took place at the junction of Green Lane and the High Street around 7-45pm. A silver or light–coloured large or 4×4 vehicle was in collision with a cyclist on the roundabout before driving off at speed along Green Lane towards Chertsey.

The cyclist, a 47-year-old man from the Slough area, was taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting with broken ribs and damage to his lung but is expected to make a full recovery.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has any information about the vehicle which failed to stop at the scene, to contact the Surrey Police Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting incident reference P15093321.
