Ramon Gray wins county council by-election

Conservative Ramon Gray has won the Surrey County Council by-election for the Weybridge division.

He was elected as the county councillor after securing 4,190 votes – 2,291 more than nearest rival Peter Harman (Weybridge Independent Party).

The by-election was called after Christian Mahne stood down.

By-election votes:

Ramon Gray (Conservative) 4,190

Peter Harman (Weybridge Independent Party) 1,899

Elinor Jones (Labour) 967

Joe Branco (UKIP) 622
